Exactly 341 lbs today! I'm that much closer to 340 lbs... then 339 lbs... and eventually 325 lbs which is my next short-term goal. And tomorrow, the world! Heh. I'm back at work today. I started my current fast at 7:00 AM, and I ate a really delicious breakfast with my husband in the morning before we went to bed. I feel as though I ate a lot, but I still ended up losing a bit. It's almost like the ketogenic diet is a miracle.
Starting weight: 401 lbs
Current weight: 341 lbs ⇩
Long-term Goal: 145 lbs
Short-term Goal: 325 lbs
My breakfast consisted of three eggs scrambled in butter and garlic with about three tablespoons of diced ham and a quarter pound of ground beef. To that, I added about a half of a cup of shredded sharp cheddar cheese and about four tablespoons of sour cream. I made lettuce wraps with it. It was a great deal of food. I let my husband have a bit of what I couldn't eat at the end. He had a similar meal, but to that, we added a salad. We thoroughly enjoyed these meals.
So now I am back to fasting, and I am feeling freed of the obligation of eating. It's a lovely feeling. I can't imagine what I'm going to do once I meet my final goal and have to start maintaining my weight instead of losing. I'm still having some trouble imagining it.
I am still looking at clothing online to get inspiration and motivation. I love to window shop and try to imagine myself fitting into the pretty outfits I see at the smaller sizes. My current clothes are starting to droop and sag all over my body. I can still wear them, and I will continue to wear them as long as I can, but I can't wait to see all the pretty clothes I will eventually be able to fit into.
I also think about how my family will feel when they see me. I hope that I can lose a great deal more before March of 2019. That is when my husband and I will be going on the cruise that my grandmother is treating us to. This means that I will be able to see her, my aunt, and my uncle at that time. I hope I can get considerably smaller. i don't think it's realistic to reach my ultimate goal of 145 lbs by then, but if I can lose 100 lbs and be around 250 lbs, that would be a huge victory.
I plan to allow myself to eat off diet while on the cruise. I know it's not the most wise decision ever, but I want to be able to enjoy myself and not worry so much about things. I will get right back to my diet after the cruise, though. And on the car trip to and from the port, I will be eating well. I expect to gain weight. I won't freak out. My biggest question is what my weight will be when we go on the trip. How much will I weigh then? We shall see!
I'm not going to live or die by meeting or missing my goal graph:
