This is Day 1 of my new Keto + Intermittent Fasting life. This is not a diet. It's a permanent change. Now, I don't plan to continue with the exact same diet in terms of food for the rest of my life. This is for weight loss. I may tweak it some as I go. When I get to maintenance, I plan to eat more like how Dr. Berg does. He is on a 2-meal-a-day schedule, and he varies what he eats.

So far, so good. I was able to easily go an entire 24-hour period without eating or being too tempted to buy something to munch on at work. I did feel hungry. I got hunger pangs around 10:00 PM and 2:00 AM as those would be the normal times I would eat something. I'd eat my lunch around 10:00 PM, and then grab a snack from the vending machines around 2:00 AM. I didn't do that.
I made it all the way to 6:30 AM! Yay! I have prepared all of my salads for the week -- 7 days' worth. I put them into gallon-sized zippies, and I plan to grab one each morning and toss it with my dressings and other wet foods (sour cream and avocado) into a large bowl each day. While I was at it, I also prepared all of my husband's sandwiches for the week ahead, too. It's such a time-saver.
I am not forcing him to join me on this weird regimen. He enjoys his food too much. If he sees me have success, though, he will likely want to make the switch at some point. I'm not going to force him. He's at around 233 lbs, and he's feeling fine.
It was so hard getting down the entire salad, but I managed. I did a weigh-in right when I got home. I think I'll do that daily from now on. I have a goal of getting into the 370s by the time we leave for our vacation on the 19th. As you can see, I changed my short-term goal to 379 lbs. I'd really like to get to 375 lbs if I can. I don't think that's possible. It's fine.
Here is my graph thus far:
