2018 JUN 7 -- Day 57

So I am down to my lowest weight ever today.  I am 351 lbs. This means I have dropped a total of 50 lbs since my husband's birthday in March. That's just amazing! I don't expect this number to hold, though. I am still in my feasting period. I expect huge weight fluctuations, and if I balloon back up another 4 or 5 lbs, I won't be surprised. What I don't want to see is a regain back to 358.8 lbs or even more.

Starting weight: 401 lbs
Current weight: 351 lbs
Long-term Goal: 145 lbs
Short-term Goal: 325 lbs

I'm not sure when I should start my next 120-hour fast. I'm thinking that I should eat breakfast tomorrow, and then start my fast immediately after. That sounds like a good plan to me. I'm struggling with trying to figure out how calorie counts actually work from day to day.

Is it based on the circadian rhythms? How does the body know when one day ends and another begins in terms of when I eat my calories? Do I have to eat them all at once? And if I stop for a bit and eat more later, will my body add them all together into the same day somehow? This is all rather confusing.

Megan Ramos suggests eating as much as 2500 calories a day, but that's nearly impossible. She also says to eat to satiation. That I can do, but it's nowhere near 2500 calories. And if I do not eat enough, my metabolism may slow to a crawl. The way she explained it, the metabolism will fall somewhere in the middle of the 0 calories you consume while fasted, and the highest number of calories you eat on feasting days. So if I were to take in 2500 calories on feasting days, and drop to 0 calories on fasting days, the metabolic rate would have me burning somewhere in the middle of that range at all times.

I'm going to continue with the 5:2 fasting schedule I'
ve started, and we will see how that goes. That is 5 days of fasting and 2 days of feasting, lather, rinse, repeat as desired.

I don't understand how calories work graph:
